American Moderns on Paper: Masterworks from the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art (Arts)

Savor the opportunity to view the finest watercolors, pastels, and drawings by leading avant-garde American artists of the early 20th century. This February, these rarely seen artworks, from America’s oldest public art museum, will travel to the Carter. Artists represented include Stuart Davis, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Andrew Wyeth.

The 3rd Annual Women’s Expo will feature over 50 companies and employers showcasing products and services from the following categories: Taste & Trade, Fitness & Health, and Career & Education. The event is hosted by the Balch Springs Chamber of Commerce. Major sponsors include the City of Balch Springs and Dallas County WCID #6. The expo will be held from 4-8 pm, Tuesday, March 9 at the Civic Center and Library-Learning Centers at 12400-12450 Elam Road in Balch Springs. Admission is free.
